Abandonment

Well, gonna say something that not everyone likes to read about - Dog abandonment. Today, someone came to board his/her dog cos the family is shifting to a new apartment so the dog has to stay somewhere else for the time being. However, this person told us straight in the face that he/she doesn't want this dog anymore if he/she is not able to find a new owner for the Maltese by 1 Jan 2012.

TOTALLY WTF CAN!?

You came to board your dog for just 5 days and you think you can just leave him with us and you just get away with it when you cannot find an owner for him? Just to add on, the Maltese came severely matted and is extremely aggressive. The owner doesn't even want to carry him and pass him over to us. Just told us to just carry him ourselves. Hey, it's still your dog and you don't even dare to touch him?

Pardon my language from now on. I'm super (x10) annoyed now! You shift to a new place, you paid for 5 days worth of boarding fees and then abandon him as you enjoy your new life at the new apartment without your problematic dog.

You better pray in future when your kids grow up, when they shift to their respective homes, they will remember to bring you along instead of leaving you in the old folks home by just paying for 1 month of expenses and then never return to see you. This is karma!

Alright, done complaining.

P.S. If one day (let's say touch wood), I really can't keep any of my poodles anymore, I'll make sure they go to good owners (like groomers or people with really good knowledge about handling dogs) or I will pay for their long term boarding as long as they need it to make sure they have a proper roof over their heads instead of just throwing them away to a foreign place and walk out of their lives. They may be just a dog to you, but you are everything to them.
